Referring to your Minutes,

¦| (a) P/Fencions/ F.M. S. of 21st November, respecting pension

of Colonel A.B. Hubback, late Government Architect, Federated Malay States.

(b) P/Pensions/Hong Kong, of the 22nd of November, respecting pension of Kr.w.R.Sutton, late Police Sergeant, Hong Kong.

No abatement of pension should be made in either case in respect of the employment in the Territorial Army and Royal Fleet Auxiliary, respectively, se such employment is not regarded as Government service within the meaning of

the pension rules.

In any case,

as regards Far Eastern Colonies,

military or naval service is not regarded as Government

service for this purpose,
